Use the videos to guide your Self-Havening to let go of the stress and strain of your day!

There are 6 videos in this series.

3 of them are delivered by a male presenter, Tony Burgess and the other 3 are presented by a female presenter, Julie French. The content covered is the same for the male and female presenters, so you can simply choose between the 2 presenters.

Once you have chosen a presenter, you can then watch the short ‘intro’ video from your chosen presenter. You may only need to ever watch this once.

Then you have a choice (depending on how much time you have available) to watch either the shorter (approx 5 minutes) or longer (approx 10 minutes) version of the guided Self Havening session.

This series of videos was originally used as part of a research project at Nottingham Trent University, and we wanted them to be put to good use beyond the research.

We hope that you find the videos helpful for letting go of stress and tension from your day.

Short session (just under 5 minutes)

(Note: The word ‘zany’ is used in the session. We discovered that not everyone is familiar with the word. It is used in the context of ‘a zany pair of socks’. In this context it just means an amusingly unusual combination – just for fun. For example, a blue and red striped sock paired with a yellow sock that has pink spots might be considered a little bit ‘zany’).
